What is Jacquard Weaving?
In 1801, Joseph Jacquard introduced the jacquard weaving system. Patterns woven with this technique are permanent and resistant to wear, friction, or washing, as the threads are intricately interlaced, making the designs part of the fabric itself.
What is Sateen Cotton Weaving?
Long-staple cotton threads are woven so that each thread passes over four (or more) threads and under only one. The thread count refers to the number of threads per square inch (warp and weft). This technique produces a natural cotton fabric similar to satin, with exceptional softness, shine, and durability.
Our Cotton Care
At Karaz Linen, we wash and comb the cotton before weaving, selecting only the strongest long-staple fibers. These are woven into a highly durable, strong, and premium-quality cotton fabric, designed to provide long-lasting comfort and luxury.
