What is Jacquard Weaving?
In 1801, Joseph Jacquard invented the jacquard weaving system. Patterns woven with this technique are permanent and resistant to fading or wear because the threads are intricately interlaced, making the designs part of the fabric itself—not printed or surface-applied.
What is Sateen Cotton Weaving?
Long-staple cotton threads are woven so that each thread passes over four (or more) threads and under only one. The thread count refers to the number of threads per square inch (both lengthwise and widthwise). This weaving method produces a natural cotton fabric that resembles satin in softness, shine, and durability.
Our Care for Cotton
At Karaz Linen, we wash and comb the cotton before weaving, selecting only the strongest long-staple fibers. These are woven into a highly durable, strong, and premium-quality cotton fabric—crafted to bring you the ultimate touch of comfort and luxury.
