Products in this category are produced from natural, undyed golden cocoons produced by rare wild silkworms found in Japan, Cambodia, and China. The golden color of these cocoons is natural, which adds to the amazing luster of their fabrics. Thanks to its nature, golden silk can have up to 99% antibacterial effect on bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (according to antimicrobial activity test by SGS). Silk is a delicate material that needs careful handling, any cleaning mistake can damage the product and that is why we advise you to follow these care instructions:
- The best is to hand wash it by soaking it in water and avoiding harsh rubbing.
- It can be cleaned in a home washing machine by using a laundry bag on 30° and a slow spin speed.
- Use a gentle laundry detergent or Silk specific (liquid detergents). - The spin timer should be the least.
- Avoid fabric whitening.
- Avoid using a dryer.
- Hang it on a drying rack at home and avoid any direct exposure to the sun.
- Keep it away from pets/sharp objects.
