This pillowcase is made from 100% natural silk, produced from silkworm cocoons nourished by mulberry leaves.

Producing 1 kilogram of silk requires approximately 3,000 silkworms consuming around 104 kilograms of mulberry leaves.
Crafting a traditional pure silk kimono requires nearly 5,000 silkworms.
Silk quality is measured using a scale called Momme, ranging from 1 to 29. The higher the Momme value, the denser, stronger, and softer the silk becomes. This pillowcase features a premium 19 Momme construction.

Natural Silk Care Instructions

Natural silk is a luxurious fabric that requires special care to preserve its beauty and quality:

Hand wash gently without vigorous rubbing.
Alternatively, machine wash inside a mesh laundry bag.
Wash at temperatures not exceeding 30°C, using the gentlest cycle available.
Use a mild liquid detergent or a detergent specifically formulated for silk.
Minimize spin time whenever possible.
Do not use bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Hang to dry away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from pets and sharp objects.
