• Producing 1 kilogram of silk requires approximately 3,000 silkworms consuming around 104 kilograms of mulberry leaves.
• Crafting a traditional pure silk kimono requires nearly 5,000 silkworms.
• Silk quality is measured using a scale called Momme, ranging from 1 to 29. The higher the Momme value, the denser, stronger, and softer the silk becomes. This pillowcase features a premium 19 Momme construction.
